3,459 Saudi beggars detained

TAIF: A report published by the Ministry of Social Affairs has revealed that Anti-Beggary Department offices have detained a total of 3,459 male and female Saudis on charges of begging across the Kingdom. The report said that the Riyadh region topped the list, with 1,414 arrests. Women beggars in Riyadh numbered 679, according to the report, with 418 in the province of Qassim, while male beggars numbered 267, and beggars both male and female of school age numbered 760.
