King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSH&RC) will hold a two-day international symposium entitled “Advancement in Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation” starting Sept. 29. The event, to be inaugurated by Dr. Tareq Linjawi, Executive Manager of the KFSH&RC, will include a specialized forum on physical therapy. Other related workshops on the latest rehabilitation measures are also on the agenda. “This event will be looking at the latest evidence and practice in assessing and treating neuro-musculoskeletal disorders, and we hope to cover a corner of this wide field,” Dr. Linjawi noted. Irfan Mukadam, chairman of the symposium's organizing committee, said the hospital was serving the community in the best possible manner.” After achieving this high standard of care, we are entering into a new phase of education. As a first step, we are conducting this symposium on the advancement in physical therapy and rehabilitation – prospective and beyond,” Mukadam added. The symposium will host scores of international researchers and experts in physical therapy from Europe, the United States, and the Czech Republic. During the seminars and workshops, these experts are scheduled to discuss diagnosing back pains, different sclerosis diseases and new methods of rehabilitation.
