A musical program presented by an expatriate group along with local talented singers captured the heart of music lovers here last week. Evergreen lyrics from famous Bollywood singers like Muhammad Rafi and Lata Mangeshkar were chosen by singers to captivate the minds of the audience. Besides, a combination of some recently released classical and semi classical hit numbers were also well received, especially by the youngsters.The event, Sunehre Naghme (Golden Melodies) was organized by Saaz And Awaz group which has already organized several successful musical shows in the city. Maher Siddiqi, the man behind Saaz And Awaz group, also sang several solo and duet songs along with talented female singer Rehana.
