An African male held over the murder of a co-worker at a cattle enclosure in Al-Muweih last Saturday has confessed to the killing, Taif Police have said. Investigators say that the murder, the result of two stab wounds to the chest, arose after an argument over money became violent. The victim's body was then hastily buried close to a sheep pen at the site where both men worked. Investigations are continuing, with the detained man's confessions expected to be put before the General Court within a week. The alleged murderer was detained on Wednesday, four days after he fled the scene of the crime and was identified as a suspect after his employer noted his unexplained absence.
