Vice-Captain Michael Clarke says Australia will be wary of the pace-spin duo of Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh during its ongoing tour of India. Clarke feels the two are dangerous because “Zaheer is a wonderful bowler with the new ball and can also reverse-swing the old one, while Harbhajan has had a lot of success against Australia.” Clarke, who has scored 4,514 runs in 62 Tests, said Thursday the two bowlers could hold the key during the two Tests and three One-Day Internationals. “These two are probably India's best bowlers and we will have to come up with a plan to combat them,” Clarke said. Australia team, meanwhile, was denied outdoor practice for a second successive day Thursday as it prepared for the upcoming Test series against India. Ricky Ponting's tourists have been dogged by bad weather ever since they arrived in the northern city of Chandigarh Tuesday evening at the start of the five-week tour. The Australians are due to play a three-day match against an Indian Board President's XI from Saturday to tune up for the first Test in the neighboring town of Mohali from Oct. 1. Even though the sun broke through for the first time in a week Thursday, heavy overnight rain confined the tourists to an indoor training session. “The sun came out after massive rain last night. Got in to the nets even if only indoors but the boys blew off some steam ... good to go,” coach Tim Nielsen wrote on his Twitter page. The groundstaff at the Sector 16 stadium, the venue for the practice match, are rushing to get the field ready for play.
