The Ministry of Labor said the country's National Day is a paid holiday even if it coincides with a weekly off-day when an employee is compensated with the preceding or following day. This is according to Article 112 of the executive labor regulations, said Hattab Bin Saleh Al-Enizi, ministry spokesman and Director of Public Relations and Information. This year's National Day corresponds to Thursday Sept. 23. The Eastern Province is gearing up to celebrate Saudi National Day on Sept. 23 with a top class program that includes a colorful parade. The parade is scheduled to start from King Abdullah Park in Dammam Corniche at 4 P.M. and includes 350 decorated vehicles and modified cars, 150 motor bikes and horses.
