Two workers were buried alive on Thursday when a pit wall collapsed and buried them under two meters of soil in Al-Khaldiah town near Turaib Center in Ahad Rufaidah Governorate. Maj. Ahmad Aal Awwadh, spokesman of the Civil Defense in Asir Region, said a Civil Defense team recovered the two bodies from a depth of two meters and took them to the hospital for the completion of procedures. In another fatal incident, an 11-year-old girl died when lightning struck her in Lateen village in Qina Center.
