Different varieties of dates worth SR950 million were sold at the Buraidah Dates Festival over the last 50 days, an official has said. Average daily sales were about SR19 million, up to a peak of SR25 million reached on one day, he said. The festival has created more than 3,000 jobs for residents at the city's dates market. The jobs include trading, auctioning, re-selling, packaging and transportation.
