Motorists need to exercise caution while revving up the engines of their vehicles as Saher traffic cameras have been installed in intersection signals within Greater Dammam Area and the stretches of Dammam to Jubail and Dammam to Al-Ahsa and Riyadh highways.
The installations of traffic cameras in the Eastern Province completes the setting up of traffic cameras in major cities in the Kingdom, including Jeddah and Riyadh. The traffic cameras monitor traffic violations of running red lights and over-speeding 24 hours, seven days a week.
The Eastern Province traffic police have installed the Saher traffic cameras on the following intersections:
u Intersection signal of Dhahran Street and Prince Hammoud, where McDonald and Kentucky fast food joints are located.
u Intersection signals at King Abdul Aziz Road (Dhahran Street signals).
u Dhahran Road intersection signal toward Al-Khobar Corniche where the Al-Khobar Police Station is located.
u Al-Khobar Corniche signal where Gulf Meridian Hotel is located.
u King Abdul Aziz Street 10 cross 16 signal (Al-Khobar).

u Makkah Street Signal at the Auto Agencies area in Al-Khobar.
u Bridge signal where Al-Khobar housing is located, on the right is Al-Ghanem Market, on the left is Al-Fawzia Market.
u Al-Khobar Street Signal (where Al-Subaie Auto Exhibition is located).
Trafffic cameras have also been positioned on the following expressways to monitor maximum speed limit in kilometers per hour:
u Dammam-Khobar Highway (Dammam Housing) with allowable maximum speed of 100.
u Dammam–Khobar Highway (Doha, Dammam Technical College, and Gulf Palace areas) with maximum speed of 110.
