Saudi Telecom has announced the launch of new Points of Presence (PoPs) in Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Jordan, India, UK and Singapore. This initial phase was achieved through synergies with Saudi Telecom and affiliates in Bahrain (VIVA) and India (Aircel), and partnerships with tier-1 operators and tele-houses in the other countries, SPA news agency said. Such further expansion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia network to the neighboring countries and key global locations will enable Saudi Telecom domestic and regional customers to enjoy global-reach with new and innovative services, in addition to further improving the overall quality of internet, data and voice services that are currently being offered to enterprise and retail customers.
