A group of Saudi artists have won an award for organizing the recently held Saudi International Comedy Festival. The award was handed to the team here on Friday. The festival was held in Abha in July under the supervision of Mamdouh Salem, the famous Saudi film maker and director of the festival, and Rawad Media. The awards were given to all the team members, including Abdo Khal, the Saudi novelist; Mohamed Hamza, a dramatist and artist; Dr. Amira Kashgari, a drama writer; Dr. Iman Tunisi and Dr. Abdullah Al-Mana, who are members of the Theatrical Association. Others honored were Abdullah Nawawi, a dramatist; Hana Hajjar; and Hani Nazer. The ceremony included a visual presentation highlighting the special moments of the festival.
