Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, received here Saturday Talmiz Ahmad, Indian Ambassador to the Kingdom. They reviewed aspects of security cooperation between the Kingdom and India notably in the field of combating terrorism and narcotics. Meanwhile, Prince Naif also received Saudi ambassadors-designate to a number of friendly and fraternal countries. The ambassadors included Abdel-Majeed Hakeem, Waleed Ridwan, and Hussein Assiri, the ambassadors designate to Kazakhstan, Poland and Mexico respectively. Prince Naif urged the ambassadors to shoulder their responsibility in a satisfactory manner noting that the Kingdom's constitution is based on the Holy Qur'an and Sunnah (the Prophet's teachings). Prince Naif underscored the importance of giving utmost attention to the problems of the citizens abroad and exerting all possible efforts for solving these problems. He reiterated the readiness of the Interior Ministry to cooperate with the ambassadors as regards solving problems of the citizens because the ministry was keen on ensuring the safety and security of the citizens. The Kingdom, Prince Naif said, has been maintaining distinguished relations with all countries of the world. “We do respect the systems and regulations of other countries and at the same time we expect them to respect our systems and regulations,” Prince Naif said. He urged the ambassadors to positively contribute to enhancing the Kingdom's relations with the countries they work in. The meeting was attended by a number of senior officials.
