Australia fast bowler Brett Lee took five wickets for five runs in a devastating spell on Monday which revived Australia's hopes of winning the second Test against West Indies. West Indies, resuming its first innings at 255 for four in the rain-interrupted Test, was all out for 352 before lunch on the fourth day, a first innings deficit of 127. Australia leads 1-0 in the three-Test series. Australia extended its lead by moving to 92 for one at tea for the loss of stand-in opener Mike Hussey for 40. Lee used both conventional and reverse swing to transform a Test which appeared to be heading for a draw. Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Dwayne Bravo had added 132 for the fifth wicket when Bravo was given out caught behind off a Lee delivery for 45, although television replays showed the ball had clipped Bravo's thigh pad rather than his bat. Lee then claimed Denesh Ramdin lbw with the next ball with replays showing he was struck outside the line of the off-stump. With the first ball of his next over, Lee dismissed Darren Sammy also lbw for a duck. Meanwhile, Chanderpaul completed his second century of the series and the 19th of his career. Jerome Taylor struck a swift 20 before he was clean bowled by a Lee yorker and then Daren Powell became the third West Indies batsman to be dismissed lbw by Lee. Mitchell Johnson got rid off Fidel Edwards caught behind for the fourth duck of the morning to complete a dramatic collapse from the hosts. Chanderpaul was unbeaten on 107. With Simon Katich suffering from bruised ribs, Hussey opened with Phil Jaques. They they put on 74 before Hussey was caught behind off Bravo, a sharp catch to Ramdin standing up to the stumps. Smith will be fit for Lord's South African skipper Graeme Smith should recover in time from a hamstring injury to play in the first Test against England next month, Proteas coach Mickey Arthur said in Johannesburg on Monday. Smith told reporters on Sunday that he would be “struggling” to be fit in time for the start of the four-Test series which begins at Lord's on July 10 after tearing his hamstring while playing in an Indian domestic tournament. Arthur, however, said that although the injury usually takes four weeks to recover he was hoping Smith would be available for the final warm-up game. – Reuters __
