The authorities are still searching for Abdullah, a 14-year-old British boy with special needs, who was reported missing in the Grand Mosque last Monday. The boy's family calls on anyone with any information to call the police or call 0559885761. The boy's parents reported to the Haram Police and Guidance Office at the mosque that Abdullah was lost while they were performing Umrah. His mother, Hadya, is devastated. “My husband and I came here to pray and ask Allah that my son recovers from his disability. As soon as we arrived at the Haram Monday midnight we started performing Umrah and lost my son at the seventh turn of the Sa'ee. I was crying and searching for him until noon the next day,” she said. They then decided that they should report the matter to the police. “My Arabic is weak and I could not communicate with the policemen to report him missing,” she added. She said she and her husband have distributed their son's photograph to all the Makkah hospitals and along several pathways outside the Grand Mosque. She said she intends to extend her stay in the Kingdom until she finds her son. The boy is mentally-ill and suffers from hyperactivity. Meanwhile, 15 government agencies held a workshop for 60 specialists last week to find solutions for people getting lost, especially during Haj and Umrah.
