Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, will chair the 17th meeting of emirs of the 13 regions in Makkah on Sunday. King Abdullah will also receive the emirs who will listen to his directives on caring for and protecting the interests of the nation and its citizens. The meeting with Prince Naif will discuss “the current situation of the youth, problems and solutions,” which is of considerable importance because young people represent about 60 percent of the Kingdom's population, Dr. Ahmad Bin Muhammad Al-Salim, undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior said on Friday. “The meeting will focus on the issues, problems and sufferings of the youth and the means to deal with these problems and protect the youth from deviant thoughts and from falling into the clutches of terrorism.
