“Originality of the Past and Present of Ramadan”, is the theme of the second exhibition of heritage and traditional products of Ramadan, which will start Monday in Jeddah. The four-day exhibition will be held under the patronage of Princess Nouf Bint Muqrin Bin Abdul Aziz, with the participation of 100 women designers. A total of 50 handcrafts producers, five charitable societies and beauty clinics will display handmade products, such as food, women's clothes, antiques and handmade gifts. “This exhibition is to help producing families financially because many of them have low incomes. It is also to show the creativity of Saudi women,” said Haifa Naji, the exhibition's organizer. She said that the exhibition has been organized under the supervision of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and will showcase new designs from 30 Saudi women designers.
