Alsalam Aircraft Company has renewed certificates for its Part 145 Repair Station issued separately by Saudi Arabia General Authority of Civil Aviation (KSA-GACA) and the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The certificates are valid for one year. Following the audits, GACA and FAA verified Alsalam's compliance with the applicable regulatory requirements which included the standards of facilities; the qualifications, training and recurrent training of technical personnel, technical documentation, tooling, equipment and materials necessary to perform maintenance, modification and upgrades to aircraft. Since its first certification almost 20 years ago by the two major aviation authorities, Alsalam Aircraft Company, has an unbroken record of passing the annual audits. “This reflects Alsalam's commitment to consistently maintaining the high standards set be these regulatory authorities,” the company said in a statement. Coupled with its extensive experience in the maintenance and modification of commercial and VIP aircraft, Alsalam offers its clients enviable capabilities. These have earned widespread appreciation from many clients and increased Alsalam's profile in the commercial and VIP markets. Locally, Alsalam has worked on significant projects involving several US and Saudi registered commercial aircraft. These range from minor repairs and maintenance checks (A-checks) up to C-checks and Heavy Maintenance Visits (HMVs), also known as D-checks. In addition, Alsalam also performs Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), modifications and upgrades to commercial and VIP aircraft.
