filled silence had gripped the offices of all the major political parties in Hyderabad as their key leaders were busy in behind the curtain analysis and assessment to get an idea of what Sunday has in store for them. As the counting of votes in the 18 assembly and four Lok Sabha constituencies will be taken up Sunday morning, the analysis and estimates by different political quarters had one prominent feature in common. All of them agreed that the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) will lose some of its assembly seats. While the leaders of TRS put the possible loss at two, other parties' figure varied between 4 to 8 seats. As far as four Lok Sabha seats were concerned, the loss to the TRS was being put at one or two by others and none by the TRS. It may be recalled here that the TRS had caused the by-elections to four Lok Sabha seats Adilabad, Karimnagar, Warangal and Hanmakonda by making all its sitting members to resign on the issue of Telangana. If the party loses any significant number of seats to either Congress or the TDP, it will be seen as a major blow both to the party and the cause of Telangana. __
