20-year-old arrested for kidnapping girl

Police here have arrested a 20-year-old man who forced a 16-year-old girl into his car while she was walking on the street with her sisters to a shop in Ghulail District. The incident was reported by the girl's mother who gave the police the car's plate number and the man's description. Dozens of checkpoints were placed in the area and the car, with the man and girl inside, was spotted in an alley by one of the policemen. The girl was unharmed and the man said he did not intend to hurt her.
