Riyadh Police have arrested two Arab nationals who broke into a Filipino man's apartment south of the city, tied him up, beat him severely and stole SR16,000 that belongs to his company. The police said the attackers were masked and carried a knife and a steel tool. They left the apartment and locked it with the injured Filipino man bleeding inside. This act is considered attempted murder, said the police. The Filipino man's neighbors responded to his cries for help and took him to hospital. Investigations have resulted in a 20-year-old Arab national charged with the crime. The stolen amount was found in his apartment, wrapped in plastic and placed inside a detergent box. The knife was also found in his apartment under his television table. His accomplice was later apprehended.
