India's government auditor says it has found evidence that the head of the Commonwealth Games Federation and the top Indian organizer have been responsible for loss of revenue, financial irregularities and overpayments. According to the Press Trust of India a recent report to the sports ministry by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) cites over a dozen cases including one where the games Organizing Committee suffered a loss of over 240 million rupees ($5 million) in awarding broadcasting rights.
