LIQUOR SMUGGLING FOILED


Batha border post seized 9,000 bottles of liquor. The liquor was being smuggled into the Kingdom in trucks, said Eid Al-Anezi, a Customs official. About 6,000 bottles of liquor were found hidden in an inside compartment in one truck and 1,500 bottles were found in a refrigerated truck. In the third case, inspectors found 1,597 bottles in the front part of a truck.
