A man uses an old fishing technique called “pull and drop” in the sea off Jeddah's Al-Hamra District before the sun set on Friday. After making a small boat from styrofoam and attaching a cardboard sail, he puts the hook, line, sinker and bait on the boat and lets it float away. When it has reached the desired distance, the fisherman pulls the line and the hook with the bait on it falls into the water, and as the boat drifts away, the angler waits for a fish to bite. – SG photo by Mohammad Mazhar Siddiqi __
