Alsalam Aircraft Company has expanded its maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) business base and presence in the European aviation market after signing several maintenance agreements with Air Atlanta Icelandic. The collaboration agreements include performing light and heavy maintenance for the Air Atlantic B747 fleet under contract to Saudi Arabian Airlines. Several A checks and C checks have been carried out since the signing of the first agreement in 2008. Numerous shop visits have been conducted to assure compliance with all the required airworthiness inspections and checks that are required by the civil aviation authorities of Europe and Saudi Arabia.
