Part of a set of dentures used by Winston Churchill to disguise a lisp is going on sale. The partial dentures are being put on auction with an estimated value of 4,000 pounds to 5,000 pounds ($6,200 to $7,800.) A duplicate set is kept by the Royal College of Surgeons of England. The organization says the dentures were a tool that the wartime British Prime Minister relied upon to overcome a childhood lisp. The set to be auctioned Thursday by Keys Auctioneers is being sold by the son of the dental technician who was commissioned to make them.
