Illiterate 86-year-old beats university girls

year-old lady has fought off competition from university students to take first prize in a Qur'an memorization contest.
The event, which was held in the southern region of Al-Basha'ir by the Qur'an Memorization Charity, required contestants to memorize 10 sections of the Qur'an and recite them faultlessly.
The winning contestant took the prize despite being completely illiterate, reportedly memorizing the required sections by rote with the help of her grandchildren.
