A brave bride rolled up the sleeves of her wedding dress, picked up a thick stick and used it to kill an uninvited wedding guest: a snake. The black reptile found its way to the wedding reception area in the women's hall in Al-Baha, and drove panicked women guests out of the hall. The bride, who was in her dressing room getting ready for the reception, heard guests screaming, grabbed the stick, stormed into the reception area and bludgeoned the unwelcome guest. The bride said she did not want the snake to ruin her wedding night, which she had planned for months. When the good news of the snake's death reached the legitimate wedding guests, they returned and they called it a happy wedding night after all.
