The Human Rights Commission (HRC) completed in Riyadh on Monday a two-day training course for members from across the Kingdom led by international human rights specialist Idris Nujaim. The course included lectures on concepts, authorities and practices involved in human rights, and looked at human rights in Islam, description of human rights groups and organizations, contractual issues in human rights, regional and international agreements and their reference to the rights of women and children, and human rights education and awareness. “The course is just one of the many measures by the Human Rights Commission to help improve and train commission staff and instruct them in human rights issues and international agreements,” said Bandar Al-Aiban, president of the HRC.
