The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (the Hai'a) arrested two males and two females at a house in the Al-Aziziya district of Khamis Mushayt on Wednesday on charges of khulwa – being alone with unrelated members of the opposite sex. Hai'a spokesman Bandar Aal Mufrih said that an Indian and a Bangladeshi were found with women of Indonesian and Sri Lankan nationality. “A patrol had become suspicious of an Indian man who was believed to be providing shelter for runaway housemaids and inviting unrelated males to his house to engage in immoral activities,” Aal Mufrih said. “When the time was right the site was raided and four persons were found in an immoral situation and handed over to the relevant investigation authorities.”
