Jeddah Police are investigating the body of a 40-year-old former policeman found Thursday night with a slit throat and multiple stab wounds at his home in Al-Rabwa District. Police were called to the scene early Friday morning by the man's father, and officers found the body with its throat slit and further 26 stab wounds. A knife with blood from the victim was found in the bathroom of the house. Police said that acquaintances of the victim were currently being questioned and that investigators were seeking to establish the precise time of death.
