An Indian man in his thirties died in the Al-Subail district when a fire led to the partial collapse of his two-story home on Tuesday. Rescue services who recovered the body from beneath the rubble said that the man appeared to be attempting to escape from the fire, which was limited to an annex room on the roof of the building, when the ceiling collapsed. Three families managed to escape the building without reporting any casualties. Officials said that investigations were under way to establish the cause of the fire.
