Jose Bautista hit his major league-leading 24th home run as the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Boston Red Sox 9-5 in the American League Saturday. Alex Gonzalez and Adam Lind also went deep for the Blue Jays, who lead the majors with 135 homers, extended their streak of multihomer games to seven and have hit 20 home runs during that span. Lind had three hits and Gonzalez added three RBIs for Toronto. Fred Lewis doubled twice, scored twice, stole two bases and drove in the go-ahead run. Blue Jays reliever Shawn Camp (3-1) pitched 1 2-3 innings for the win, while Boston starter John Lackey (9-5) allowed seven runs in 4 2-3 innings and walked six – a season worst. Red Sox manager Terry Francona and outfielder Mike Cameron were ejected for arguing balls and strikes. Tigers 7, Twins 4: In Detroit, Johnny Damon hit a three-run homer in the fifth inning to lift surging Detroit over Minnesota. Damon's shot was the Tigers' fourth home run against Twins' starter Nick Blackburn (7-7), who gave up four long shots for the first time in his career, and allowed seven runs over four innings. Miguel Cabrera hit a two-run homer in the first, rookie Alex Avila and Magglio Ordonez followed with solo shots in each of the next two innings and Damon's drive gave the Tigers a four-run lead. AL Central-leading Detroit has won five straight overall and 17 of 19 at home to move a season-high 11 games over .500. The third-place Twins have lost four in a row. Tigers starter Jeremy Bonderman (5-6) gave up three runs in six innings for the win. Mariners 4, Yankees 1: In Seattle, Jose Lopez hit his second career grand slam in the eighth inning to lift Seattle to a comeback win over New York. Held hitless into the sixth inning by Yankees starter Javier Vazquez, the Mariners offense came alive against burly New York reliever Joba Chamberlain (1-4). They loaded the bases on a fielder's choice by Ichiro Suzuki, single by Chone Figgins and intentional walk to Russell Branyan before Lopez homered. Seattle starter Felix Hernandez (7-5) earned his third straight complete-game victory against New York, which had its season-best seven-game winning streak snapped. He struck out nine in his 11th complete game, fourth of the season and third in his past five starts. Nick Swisher hit a solo homer in the third - his 15th of the season – for New York. Athletics 15, Angels 1: In Oakland, Rajai Davis hit a grand slam as Oakland handed Scott Kazmir the worst pounding ever for a Los Angeles pitcher. White Sox 5, Royals 1: In Chicago, Gavin Floyd pitched effectively into the eighth inning to steer Chicago past Kansas City and to its seventh straight win. Rays 4, Indians 0: In St. Petersburg, Matt Garza allowed one hit over six innings to steer Tampa Bay past Cleveland. Garza (10-5) ceded only a second-inning single during an 88-pitch outing, was on a limited pitch count of around 90 after he worked out of the bullpen earlier in the week. Rays relievers Grant Balfour, Joaquin Benoit and Lance Cormier completed the shutout. Gabe Kapler hit a two-run single for Tampa Bay, while Indians starter Aaron Laffey (1-3) gave up three runs over 5 2-3 innings. Orioles 6, Rangers 1: In Arlington, Cliff Lee's strong debut for Texas was spoiled by a splendid pitching display by Baltimore's Chris Tillman.
