Police in Taif have said that a family row was behind the fatal stabbing of a ma n in his twenties in Al-Hawiya on Friday. Turki Al-Shehri, spokesman for Taif Police, said that the alleged killer was still being questioned as officials seek to establish his motives. “Initial investigations suggest the death was provoked by a family argument,” Al-Shehri said. The alleged killer and his victim were reportedly in-laws and what started as a fist-fight turned into a murder investigation after the former produced a knife and dealt his victim several blows.
