Police in Tabuk are investigating a violent confrontation between over a dozen Arab workers and a group of youths on Friday that left one person in hospital with head injuries. The incident occurred when 15 laborers on a bus in Al-Nasba in the north of Omluj were confronted by two youths in a car along the Corniche, and an argument with the Filipino driver of the bus led to a pursuit along the coastal road. The confrontation was then renewed at the work residence of the laborers where sticks and knives were produced. Local residents said that gunfire was also heard. Police and ambulances were called to the scene and one person was admitted to hospital with a stab wound to the head.
