At least 43 students attended the eight training sessions conducted by Taj Toastmasters Club for a period of four weeks. The program ends this week with the students organizing a Grand Finale at the Marhaba Banquet Hall in Riyadh. The YLP participants, their parents, school officials, toastmasters and guests attended the Grand Finale which was called to order by chief sergeant-at-arms Saima Fakih. Richard Anderson, counselor at the Canadian embassy who was the chief guest, advised the students to utilize whatever they learned from the training. School Chairman Dr. Anas Abdul Majeed, Principal K.M.Abdulaziz, Managing Committee member Shahul Hameed, Toastmasters Division ‘A' immediate past governor S.R.Sridhar, Division ‘A' governor- elect and YLP chief coordinator Abraham Daniel and parents' representative Jojy Joseph addressed the audience. Program Organizing Committee chairperson Athulya Mary Abraham gave the welcome speech while Syed Abdulaziz and Susan Varghese were masters of ceremony. The show included contests among the students under the control of Toastmaster Mythili Sreenivasan. Shruthi Menon, the chief judge, and Haebal Abraham served as contest masters.
