A summer training program for 540 leading field staff of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (the Hai'a) is scheduled to begin in Taif Saturday. The three-week training program is being organized by the General Presidency for the Commission in collaboration with Taif University. Sheikh Abdul Aziz Bin Humayen Al-Humayen, General President of the Hai'a, said the program aims to upgrade the standard of Hai'a field work by acquainting staff with regulations and allowing them to share their experiences. Al-Humayen said, “The program is of special importance, as it comes after numerous steps have been taken for comprehensive development in field work in Hai'a departments at all levels. Abdul Mohsin Bin Muhammad Al-Yahya, Hai'a Deputy General President for Planning and Development, said the program is targeting 116 Hai'a directors, 346 Hai'a center managers and 78 heads of administration and field work departments. Al-Yahya said the program comprises 18 training courses spread over six consecutive training periods.
