The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs has notified all Mayor's Offices with its new measures pertaining to noise and dust and dirt from excavations and other construction works. The ministry stated in its circular to mayoralties that a contractor must be obliged to include the procedures and measures taken to reduce dust from the works of a project. It stressed on the importance of using modern, eco-friendly systems that reduces the negative environmental effects on areas adjacent to a project site.
