Part of the SR100 million investment of a Saudi-Omani joint venture company appointed as the sole distributor for Renault vehicles will go into a training program for young Saudis. The new Saudi-Omani joint venture company set up with an initial investment of SR100 million will establish a training center for young Saudis to work as technicians at eight service centers planned in the Kingdom. This was announced at a press conference here Saturday along with the appointment of Gulf Advantage Automobile (GAA), a joint venture between Al-Baazei Company and Suhail Bahwan Automobiles of Oman as the sole distributor of Renault vehicles in Saudi Arabia. Katsumi Nakamura, executive vice president, Emmanuel Lavacher, vice president Renault, Abdullah Al-Baazei, managing director, Al-Baazei & Sons, Ahmed Bhawan, GAA Chairman, and K.S. Kumar, Group MD for GAA were present.
