The Global Center for Introducing the Messenger, an affiliate of Muslim World League, has recently issued an abridged encyclopedia on Allah's last Messenger Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The 431-page encyclopedia is the fruit of three years of hard work of preparation, writing, editing and reviewing, and includes Prophet Muhammad's life and biography based on intensive efforts for scientific facts and substantive evidences. “The work is divided into eight chapters, the first chapter on his childhood and upbringing, personality and elements that influenced his character, his description and features, his voice, speech, the purity and cleanliness, his aroma, his glowing face as well as his generous receptions and the habit of greeting others with smile,” said Dr. Adel Al-Sheddi, Secretary General of the center. The second chapter, he said, is about Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his kind character of moderation and optimism, determination and ambition, the simplicity in his life, his eloquence, tranquility and dignity in his character. The third chapter highlights Prophet Muhammad's apparels, food habits, worship of Allah, his sleeping habits, joys and grief and sense of humor. The fourth chapter is about his tenderness, modesty, compassion, patience and his generosity, justice and courage, loyalty as well as his honoring of his commitment. The fifth chapter is on Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his companions, his communication with women, with children, with his relatives, neighbors and animals and even with hypocrites. The 6th chapter reveals Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in peace and in war; the ethics of war in his message, prisoners of wars and dealing with his enemies and also the number of attempts on his life. The 7th chapter addresses the social and economic, political, scientific, cultural changes, the change in human character and the change of previous religions. And the final chapter reviews the illness of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his dealings with patients and signs of deaths and his will. The encyclopedia will be translated into English, French, Spanish and German languages in the next two years, Dr. Adel Al
