One interface, called DriveGrip, uses gloves with vibrating motors on areas that cover the knuckles. The vibrations signal to the driver when and where to turn. When desired turning information is sent to the interface, the vibrating motors respond by activating gradually in the direction of the turn and deactivating everywhere else. Because the motors inside the gloves can be programmed to vibrate in a variety of patterns, DriveGrip is a very versatile design, and may be used not only for steering angle, but could also be used to convey information on speed and emergency stopping. __
