Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz patronized a graduation ceremony at the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences here Wednesday evening.?? During the ceremony, Prince Naif delivered a speech in which he highlighted the importance of education and the efforts of the university in the field of security research.?? On terrorism, Prince Naif said that terrorists are misled Saudi citizens, adding that Saudi Arabia was a priority target for terrorism.??Prince Naif reviewed the terrorist attacks that have been attempted against the Kingdom stating that Saudi security forces fought terrorism and arrested many terrorists, some of whom were killed unintentionally during confrontation and arrest.?? He said that 220 attempted attacks against the Kingdom were foiled during the last 10 years adding that those behind these attempted acts of terrorism were all arrested and will be tried. Prince Naif reviewed efforts to counsel terrorists to bring them back to the right path as well as efforts in the field of intellectual security urging scholars to correct wrong ideas and show Islam's position on terrorism.?? He also reviewed efforts to care for the families of the terrorists.?? Prince Naif said that he hoped terrorism would end soon but stated that at the moment, it still exists and that the Kingdom is still being targeted. He said efforts are being exerted to foil all terrorist acts, and he praised Saudi security agencies in their fight against terrorism and terrorists hoping that they will eventually eliminate the sources of terrorism.
