Preparations begin for EP sports fest

Registration for participants in the 2010 Prince Muhammad Bin Fahd Ramadan Sports fest started Monday, the sports fest's organizing committee has announced.
The competition, which is one of the highlights in the observance of Ramadan in the Eastern Province, is organized by the Asharqia Chambers.
The competitions will be held at various venues in the Eastern Province, depending on the sports being competed, from Aug. 14 to 28, with an awards ceremony scheduled to be held at the stadium of the Green Sports Center in Dammam. Prince Muhammad is expected to attend the awarding ceremonies to give the awards to the winning teams.
