The India Youth Welfare Association-Jeddah (IYWA) held a farewell party for Consul K. K. Vijayan -labor and community welfare- at the Seasons Restaurant in Jeddah last week. The party was attended by Consuls B.K. Aseeja [head of Chancery], Mohammed Rashid Khan (commercial) Madan Lal Raigar (passport], Shakeel Ahmed, (education), Madan Lal Raigar (passport), S.D. Moorthy, (Haj-II), Sarooha, vice Consul (labor), Anil Naib, vice consul (PS), Promod Kumar and Ramnarayan Iyer. Vijayan has served for 39 years in the Indian Foreign Service, including his four-year tenure at the Consulate General in Jeddah. Khawja Naser Jamal, Bobby Manatt and Fuzail Ahmed, an executive of IYWA. Ramnarayan Iyer delivered short speeches about his services and wished him goodwill. Mir Gazanfar Ali Zaki and Muzzammil Hussain presented the memento and bouquet of flowers while Syed Baqer Ali gave a thank-you remarks for Vijayan on behalf of IYWA.
