The famous Pakistani pop singer Jawad Ahmed stole the night with his fans in Jeddah when he sang his famous songs in a tremendous performance on June 17. The songs included those from his latest film – “Bin Tere kya hay Jeena”, “Dosti”, “Banto di jaan”, “Uchyaan majaja wali”, “Oh Kendi aye saiyyan”, “ Taare Dub gaye nay”, “Allah Mere dil kay ander”, “Yaddan Seenay nal (from his film Virsa)”, “Hua hua ishq (from his film Virsa)”, “Dholna”, “Baaki sab theek hay.” The event was organized by Event company of Jeddah for families to have a chance to listen to the singer and enjoy the night. The guests of honor were Abdul Salik Khan, the Pakistani consul general, and Khuram Mustaq, the country manager of Paskistan Inernational Airlines for Saudi Arabia and Yemen. Jawad, with his team of musicians and a sound engineer, put the audience on their feet all through the night. A famous local singer, Sikander, joined the group in entertaining the crowd with his fabulous songs. Jawad has earned a name not only in Pakistan but also across the world as a singer, composer and a musician. His albums “Bol Tujhe Kia Chahiye”, “Uchian Majajan Wali” and ‘Jind Jan Sonye' left a lasting impression on music lovers. He started the show with the national anthem of Pakistan, which shows his patriotism for his country. He entertained the audience not only with his slow songs like “Bin tere kia he jina” but also with his bhangra tracks like “Uchian Mejajan Wali” and “Banto Dee Jaan” that made his fans sway with his music. “ I love to sing all types of songs that's why I brought different songs for the fans of Jeddah with the message of love, peace and values,” said Jawad in an interview with the Saudi Gazette. Jawad's energetic and lively music enthralled the audience that gave him constant applause until the end of the show. After the curtail fell on the stage, Jawad happily gave out his autograph and posed for photographs with fans. Some used their cellphones to pose for photographs with Jawad who mingled freely with the crowd. Jawad said goodbye with a promise that he would come back to Jeddah in the near future.
