The aftermath of an accident in Rijal Alma' on Thursday. Police said the incident was caused by a speeding driver who lost control in the wet conditions and struck a palm tree on the central island before hitting an electricity pole. A second vehicle then collided with the fallen pole. One of the drivers was taken to hospital, his condition said to be serious.
