A Saudi man has told investigators in Al-Ahsa that he was responsible for the death of his infant child after he accidentally “dropped him on the floor”. Police said they were called to a hospital by staff who informed them a baby boy had been brought in exhibiting serious “old injuries”. A police spokesman said that the child succumbed to his injuries shortly after officers arrived.
