“I'll cause your hair to turn grey,” said a note a burglar left behind after stealing furniture from a rest house here Friday. The owner of the rest house, who requested anonymity, said that he discovered the theft of the furniture in three separate times. He first noticed the carpet had been stolen from the sitting room. The thief later returned and stole some furniture from the same sitting room. Finally, he stole some electrical appliances and air-conditioners. He then left a note for the rest house owner threatening he would return and steal some more. The owner said he has been forced to take turns with some of his relatives to keep a watch on the rest house because he is afraid that the burglar would carry out his threat. He said there have been reported cases of theft and burglaries from several other neighboring rest houses.
