Talal supports UN development efforts

Prince Talal Bin Abdulaziz, President of the Arab Gulf Program for United Nations Development Organizations (AGFUND), has emphasized the need for achieving the Goals of Millennium Development by the year 2015, pointing out that there are still many countries which are far from achieving these goals.?
In a meeting here this week with the President of the United Nations Coalition of Information Technology and Communication Talal Abu Ghazaleh, the Prince said that AGFUND has been supporting United Nations efforts for local-content technology and its utilization for development through partnerships.?
Abu Ghazaleh praised Prince Talal for his developmental efforts in Arab and international arenas, describing AGFUND as a model of success in the Arab world.
