Emerging unbeaten in three pool matches International Indian School Jeddah (IISJ) stormed into the semifinals of the 13th SIFF-JNH Soccer 2010 at the Sharbatly ground here. In the third and last engagement, IISJ blanked Young Challengers Club (YCC) 2-0 to top Group A. In the other match of the day, ACC B defeated Rainbow 2-0. The 13th championship which is being organized by Saudi Indian Football Forum (SIFF), is mainly sponsored by Jeddah National Hospital (JNH) and supported by Alpha Cargo, Comfort Travel Group, Eastern Curry Powder, Shifa Jeddah Polyclinic, Newsline Cargo and Al-Abeer Polyclinic. Striker Fairoz scored both the goals for ACC. Defender Anwar proved a hard nut to crack in ACC defense. He foiled many Rainbow moves. Even without its key player Zaman, who had to sit out due to a red card, IISJ surged into attack as the firing trio of Hisham, Emad and Olyan combined well to push YCC into defense. However, YCC saved its fort in the first session. IISJ opened the scoring off a penalty. Referee pointed to the dreaded spot when Emad was tackled in the box and Khalid converted the penalty. Emad completed the tally with a beauty. Off a combined move by Hisham, Olyan and Omer right out Emad lobbed the ball intelligently over an advancing YCC keeper. IISJ keeper Nadir was in his elements to thwart many YCC attempts.
