An Indian man was taken to hospital with burns after a gas leak from a cooker led to a fire at his home on Sunday. The man was unaware of the leak when he went to light the gas on the stove causing a minor explosion and fire which firefighters rapidly contained. Hospital sources described his condition as “no cause for alarm”.
